Sap Support Portal - It's time for part 3 of the FAQ series on the SAP Support Portal. As mentioned in my previous post, this blog focuses on how to create a message. Consider this step-by-step blog that addresses some of the most common questions we hear about support. So let the games begin!
It is important to note that you must have the correct permissions assigned to the S-user ID to create a support message. If you find that you do not have the correct permissions to post a support message, you will need to contact your company's senior management to request that those permissions be added to your profile. You can find out who your company's top executives are here.

The unique URL to access the Message Wizard is http://service.sap.com/message or you can get there by clicking the Help and Support heading, then the Product Error Report link.
Attach Sap Note Search Results To Incidents Automatically
The first step in the message creation process is to select the installation and system (country product) for which you have a question. Packaging usually refers to the configuration of the original product type, but it can be modified and renamed to suit a specific purpose or distribution area. The system displays the status of your current product, including the product name, version, system type, operating system, and licenses that have been used. See this manual for documentation on installing and maintaining the system.
Note: It is important to back up system data. By keeping your system data up-to-date, it allows you to respond quickly in the event of a product problem, as all of your product's configuration information is saved with notification. Special permissions must be associated with your S-user ID. If you do not have the necessary permissions, please contact your company's senior management(s).
The next step in the message generation process is to search to see if there is a known solution to the problem. This is good in two ways. If there is a fully documented solution, you can follow the steps in the note or Knowledge Base Article (KBA) to solve the problem yourself. It also saves time because you don't need to write a support ticket if you find a solution.
Enter search terms such as keywords, the transaction you are calling, or the name of the program. You can also specify the search against a certain section (support queue). If you want the search to return specific words you type, change the Search method under Advanced search methods. Then click Continue. If you find too many results, you can change your search criteria on the next screen. If you can't find a solution, you can click on the "Create Message" button.
What Are My Options For Sap Erp Hcm Onprem In The Next Years?
The message creation screen contains mandatory options. The first of these is feature selection. A category is a support column to which your message is directed. It is important to choose the right part to process your message in a fast way.
In the category window, you can choose from different categories or use the search field to enter a product name.
The section you select will appear on the main message creation screen. The default message is medium, but you can change the default.
NEED TO KNOW: If you are changing priorities upwards, you must complete the business impact section. If you change the priorities to be very high, the business impact must be maintained AND your English speaking person must be available 24/7 to work with support.
Sap Security Recommendations Archives
The Reproduce Steps section is optional, but allows you to provide support with step-by-step instructions for reproducing an issue.
You can attach files to your support message. Click the browse button to locate the file on your computer, select it, and click Download. You'll want to enter a file name in the Enter unique file description section.
NEED TO KNOW: Links have a file size limit of 4 MB. If you have a file larger than this, please note it in the long text section and a support advisor will provide you with an alternative.
If you have used any SAP data to solve the problem, you can enter the data numbers and select whether it is running or not.

The last part of the message creation process is the Contacts and Notifications area. A reporter will contact you. It is preloaded with your profile information stored in the SAP Support Portal. It is important to review and make sure your contact information is correct, as support will use it to contact you to resolve the issue. You can choose to be notified by email when the status of a support message changes.
Once you have entered all the information and are ready to submit your support message, click the Send Message button. This message will be sent to support. If you click the "Save message" button, this message will be saved as your email. You can then enter or cancel it to send it.
You can check the status of your support messages by going to My Inbox at the top of the page.

Sap Support Portal
Our journey has just begun. The experience will be completely transformed by focusing on your experience as our customer, such as software downloads, user management and event wizards. Personalization is another hot topic you come up with and we agree! How much better would it be to customize what you want and need to see? Finally, most of the applications (such as License Keys, Software Downloads, and Incident Creation) still work on legacy systems, so when you enter the application in the SAP Support Portal, it will ask you to log in. We understand that. It's very annoying, and it's something we're aware of and we're committed to improving for you. In the meantime, you can create a browser certificate for access. This helps reduce login pop-ups. For information about browser certification, see this link > https://support.sap.com/support-programs-services/about/help-index/passport-help.html
I would like to personally thank you for your continued support. I look forward to hearing your feedback and suggestions on how we can continue to improve your experience.
